Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Scholarship Programs
Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet is celebrated as one of the leaders of classical ballet training in the world. The school annually provides more than $120,000 in merit and financial need-based scholarships in fulfillment of its mission to inspire, educate and enrich the lives of its students.
A gift to one of CPYB’s restricted scholarship funds ensures the sustainability of these programs and guarantees your lasting legacy through an investment in the future of classical ballet education.
NEW Two-Year Male Scholarship Program
CPYB’s Male Scholarship Program gives aspiring male dancers aged 14 to 19 the opportunity to be selected to receive a scholarship that provides two years of uninterrupted proven ballet training at CPYB. CPYB commits to providing up to eight recipients with 22 months consecutive tuition scholarships and a monthly stipend. Students must audition for these competitive scholarships that will allow them to pursue their dreams. The fund is secured through annual donor support and CPYB fundraising events.
Changing Lives Scholarship Fund
The Changing Lives Scholarship Fund is a financial need-based, work/study scholarship program that ensures broad-based accessibility to world-class ballet training regardless of financial resources. The fund is secured through annual donor support and CPYB fundraising events.
CPYB’s Adopt-A-Dancer program provides a hand-selected group of talented and meritorious students with the opportunity to study for the entire academic year with free or reduced-rate tuition. With your gift to the Adopt-A-Dancer program, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped shape a young child’s life through their exposure to the discipline and dedication that stems from CPYB’s professional training.
As an Adopt-A-Dancer sponsor you will see the changes in these young artists happen right before your eyes. The program’s benefit package provides you with the opportunity to develop a long-lasting connection with your dancer.

Supporters of this fund assure the continued development of classical male dancing for generations to come.
