The Annual Fund and Advancement Manager is part of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s Development Team. This position administers the internal operations of the school’s fundraising initiatives, develops and executes sophisticated annual giving programming, manages the execution of advancement events, and grows and maintains relationships. The Annual Fund and Advancement Manager exhibits highly-developed relationship-building skills, demonstrated success in managing programs with a collaborative approach and excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • Support and partner with the CEO on major fundraising initiatives and in obtaining new sponsorships.
  • Manage Annual Development Plan and cultivation events including scholarships, spring campaign, gala events, annual appeals, EITC partnerships and educational programs.
  • Work internally with Marketing Department on Development related communications, creative, and social media needs.
  • Research new funding sources and trends to help position CPYB ahead of major funding changes or trends.


  • Three (3) plus years of experience in fundraising, advancement, business development and/or other related field is required.
  • Event management and relationship building experience essential.
  • Skills to manage/create presentation materials, newsletters, and other outreach materials necessary.
  • Travel & transportation between office locations, off-site meetings, productions, etc. is required.
