Payment Policy: 5-Week Summer Ballet Program

If the full payment of tuition and/or any other CPYB 5-Week Summer Ballet Program fees along with all required forms and materials, are not received by the stated deadlines, the student will be placed on a waiting list.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to notify their financial institution regarding limits on their account or fraud prevention. Transactions declined for any reason incur a $35 declined transaction fee. ONLY if a letter from the financial institution stating the account was closed due to fraud is provided within 48 hours prior to the payment being processed will the $35 declined transaction fee be waived.

In order to receive the February, March or April rate applicants must reserve their place in the program by 11:59 p.m. on the 14th of their desired month (payment date) and pay the $300 deposit.

Refund Policy: 5-Week Summer Ballet Program

There are no refunds on any program fees for any reason (both mandatory and elected fees), with the exception of room and board ONLY, subject to the room and board refund terms detailed below.  There are no transfers of ANY programs fees, including room and board, to a student or other CPYB program for any reason.

Room and Board Refund Terms:

Room and board can be refunded, less a $2,250 cancellation fee

There are no refunds or transfers  on room and board

 

All refunds must be requested in a formal written withdrawal to info@cpyb.org. All approved refunds will be processed through the original form of payment used.

INJURIES

Please keep in mind that the study of dance, especially ballet, comes with the risk of injury.  Those students who suffer a major and debilitating injury preventing any dancing after full payment of fees but prior to June 15 may submit a letter of explanation from a licensed physician; at that time, CPYB will consider negotiation of a tuition credit for the following year’s 5-Week Summer Ballet Program in the amount of paid tuition, less the $300 non-refundable deposit.  Approved credits are non-transferrable to other students or other CPYB programs. All other refund policies apply.

PLEASE NOTE: The tuition credit will NOT be considered without a letter of explanation from a licensed physician and a formal written withdrawal to info@cpyb.org.
