Returning Student Enrollment Instructions

Enrolling in the 2017-2018 Academic Year

NOTE: These instructions are for students who attended a 2015, 2016 or 2017 CPYB program.

Scholarship applications for the 2017-2018 Academic Year are no longer being accepted. Please contact us if you have any questions.

STEP 1: Login to your Family Portal. For password assistance, click the “forgot my password” link.

STEP 2: Update your MY ACCOUNT tab

  • Confirm/update family address, phone and emergency contact information
  • Confirm/update payment information
    • The account number you enter will be used to charge your registration and security fees. You may update your payment information at any time.
  • Confirm/update billing address
  • Click SAVE in the top left-hand corner
  • You can change your user ID and password through the “My Account” tab at any time


STEP 3: Update your MY CONTACTS tab

  • Complete all fields in their entirety
    • The contact should be the parent/guardian
    • If the student is over 18, they should complete their information in both the My Contacts and My Student tab and label themself as “adult student”
  • IMPORTANT:
    • Confirm that e-mail and phone numbers are current
    • Click "Receive Text Message Notifications" to receive notifications in the event of an urgent communication need 
  • Click SAVE in the top left-hand corner


STEP 4: Update your MY STUDENTS tab

  • Select student registering for the 2017-2018 Academic Year
  • Completion of all fields is REQUIRED
    • IMPORTANT: It is critical that student cell phone and e-mail information is entered
    • Click "Receive Text Message Notifications" to ensure your child receives notifications in the event of an urgent communication need 
  • To add another student to your family record, click "Add new student" in the top left-hand corner
  • Click SAVE in the top left-hand corner


STEP 5: Go to ENROLL tab 

  • Select "Academic Year 2017-18" from the "Session" drop-down
  • Select your registration category
    • Primary and Pre-Professional divisions select registration category based on location
    • Children's Division select registration category based on location and class.
  • Select the student(s) you wish to enroll
  • Click "Enroll"


STEP 6: Go to POLICIES tab

  • Each applicant is required to read and agree to the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s policies by checking the box at the end of each policy listed 

 

Your $35 non-refundable registration fee and $45 non-refundable security fee will be charged within 72 hours of application submission.

IMPORTANT NOTE: REQUIRED HEALTH FORMS

Students who submitted a physical form for the 2017 5-Week Summer Ballet Program or August Course will need to complete the Health Form Package on the Family Portal, less the physical form. Otherwise, all students registered for the upcoming Academic Year are required to submit the Health Form Package in its entirety. Please review the instructions at the top of the Health Form Package prior to completion.

Log on to your Family Portal --> Click the EVENT REGISTRATION tab --> Click the EVENT CALENDAR -->  Select “Health Form Package” on September 1, 2017 --> Review instructions within the form, complete, and submit. Please note: this Health Form Package will be valid through August 2018.
